Stay a little longer.

A day for the town. A night to slow down. On your second day, revisit a favourite place or arrange a nature visit in advance.

THE PLAN

Two days, two different rhythms.

Spend your first day in Agira. Keep the second flexible: arrange a reserve visit with its managing body. It is not a walking extension of the urban itinerary.

  1. Day 1 · the town

    Time to explore Agira

Combine the historic centre, castle and abbey according to opening hours and your pace. Include lunch and leave time to revisit somewhere that caught your attention.

    Plan a full day

Good to know. Use the “Take your time” itinerary and shorten it to fit your arrival time.

    Choose places to visit
  2. Between the two days

    A night in Agira

Arrange accommodation before travelling and agree a check-in time. Once your bags and car are settled, spend the evening over dinner and a walk if you still feel like one.

    One night

Good to know. Ask the accommodation how to get there, where to park and whether access involves steps.

    Plan your overnight stay
  3. Day 2 · if arranged

    Vallone di Piano della Corte

Consider a reserve visit by contacting CUTGANA. Ask what activities are available on your dates, which route is planned, what equipment you need and how to reach the meeting point.

    Agree the duration in advance

Good to know. Confirm availability and conditions before setting aside the day for an excursion. Do not use this outline as navigation.

    Information from the managing body
  4. Day 2 · an alternative in town

    Return to a favourite place

If a nature visit is not available, stay in town. Revisit a place at a slower pace, complete a postponed visit or enjoy breakfast and a stop for cassatelle before leaving.

    A free morning

Good to know. This replaces the excursion; it is not an extra stop you must fit into the same day.

    Before you leave

The times shown are planning suggestions, not measured walking times. Adapt them to your starting point, pace, weather and opening hours.
